To Be Inspired
Jesus commanded us to make disciples of all nations, but sometimes we can lose our spiritual fervency. Every week it’s the same people, the same songs, and the same preacher. It’s easy to become complacent, or worse, lose the steadfastness of our faith. Rather than being ‘living stones’, we end up just ‘stones’ on the road of life.
A new environment and meeting new people can speak new life into our faith. This can stimulate us back into action for the Lord in new and deeper ways than before.
There are many individuals and groups who believe in the same One God yet have been blessed with many different experiences in God. At CONVERGE, there will be new faces and voices to inspire us so that when we go back home, we will be more energized to better fulfill our ministries that the Lord has given us.
To Give, Encourage, and Refresh
For those blessed with a congregation and weekly fellowship, it is easy to overlook those in small home churches or who are completely isolated. These brothers and sisters faithfully stand for truth despite doctrinal opposition from friends, family, and their community.
CONVERGE is a time for those who are blessed with bigger congregations to encourage those who feel isolated on account of their faith in One God. The Lord Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Without giving and sacrifice in serving one another, there will be no growth. Without growth, where will the next generation be?
CONVERGE is about a multi-generational vision for our faith communities to celebrate the One God together.
